Punjab – Schools across Punjab will begin their winter holidays on December 20, 2024, and they will last until January 10, 2025, as announced by Khalid Nazir Watto, the Secretary of Schools.
In his statement, Watto confirmed the dates for the winter break, which will provide students with nearly three weeks of vacation.
Meanwhile, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced the postponement of the intermediate practical exams scheduled for Monday. This change comes after the federal government declared a public holiday for the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
Tanveer Asghar Awan, the Controller of Examinations at BISE Rawalpindi, mentioned that a new date for the practical exams would be communicated soon. However, he clarified that practical exams in other districts, excluding Rawalpindi, would proceed as per the original schedule.
The exams for Intermediate courses in Physics, and Health and Physical Education were originally set to take place today.
