Traffic Restrictions Announced
The Karachi Traffic Police have implemented temporary road closures and diversions on major routes, including Sharea Faisal, as part of security measures. These restrictions are scheduled from 2:00 am to 5:00 am on November 22 and 23.
Affected Areas and Routes
Traffic from the airport will not be allowed to proceed toward Karsaz Road or Stadium, while vehicles coming from Nursery will also be barred from heading toward Karsaz or the airport. Additionally, access from University Road to Sir Shah Suleman Road, Expo Center, or Stadium Road will be restricted.
Roads connecting Newtown and University Road to Aga Khan Hospital will remain closed during this period.
Alternative Routes for Commuters
Commuters traveling from Liaquatabad No. 10 and Hassan Square are advised to use NIPA and Rashid Minhas Roads as alternate routes to avoid disruptions.
