Selena Gomez showed up at the Los Angeles debut of Emilia Perez and shared some interesting understanding into the film tryouts.
The Main Homicides in the Structure entertainer, 32, presented with her co-stars Zoe Saldana, Karla Sofia Gascon, Adriana Paz, and Edgar Ramirez at the occasion on Monday, October 21st.
At the enormous occasion, the Lose You to Cherish Me songstress focused on her tryout, sharing that she sang Bienvenida “which is a major number I do in the room,” in discussion with The Hollywood Journalist.
“The director, Jacques (Audiard), literally told me, act drunk, throw your shoes if you want, and just go crazy. I throw everything around, and I had no idea the concept of what he was going for. Once I did it, and he said, “Go crazy!”
The Disney alum proceeded, “I went absolutely for it. I blacked out while standing on furniture, but I was singing and dancing like a madwoman, a drunk madwoman, and it was a very bizarre experience. However, when he ultimately decided to go with me, it was an honor for me.”
Gomez became well-known as a child star on the popular Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place.
During the debut for her most recent task, Gomez conceded she is “available to anything” concerning her future jobs.
This comes after the actress posted a moving video to social media in which she showed how excited she was when she first heard about the role.
Netflix will release Emilia Perez on November 13th.
