The initiative, according to a spokesperson for the department of education, aimed to promote education in Sindh by involving elected representatives in the oversight of government-run educational institutions and the implementation of measures to make them fully operational.
He stated that minister Shah had sent a letter to each assembly member urging them to adopt at least three schools in their respective constituencies.
