After 12 PM, they held a public interview to brief the media about the result of the gathering. Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the JUI-F, stated that the trio was “near consensus” on some issues and had reached agreement on others. When he said they were getting closer to a consensus, he seemed hopeful.
“Subsequent to arriving at Islamabad, I will converse with the PTI about the proposed alterations and attempt to accept it,” he said, adding that revisions would be brought to fortify the foundations.
The modifications, according to PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, would be approved by parliament at a later date. The consensus on proposed drafts that two parties, the PPP and the JUI-F, reached yesterday (Tuesday); Currently, it is between three parties: PML-N, PPP, and JUI-F,” the PPP leader stated.
