Royal approval has been granted for the appointment of new imams at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.
According to Arab media, Imam Sheikh Badr Al-Turki and Sheikh Dr. Al-Waleed Al-Shamsan have been appointed at the Grand Mosque.
At the Prophet’s Mosque, two new imams have also been approved: Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Barhaji and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurafi.
The appointments of the new imams were made through a royal decree, as reported by Arab media.
