Mumbai: Former Bollywood actress Sana Khan, who bid farewell to the glitz of the film industry to embrace Islam, has made a surprising revelation about her personal life.
In a podcast with Rubina Dilaik, Sana Khan shared that her husband, Mufti Anas, was introduced to her through a voice note from renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel.
Sana revealed that Maulana Tariq Jameel advised her in the voice note to consider marriage and think about Mufti Anas as a potential match. Initially taken aback, she later discussed it with Mufti Anas.
She also mentioned that Mufti Anas is seven years younger than her, to which he responded that it aligns with the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who married Khadijah, who was 15 years older than him.
Sana Khan left the Bollywood industry in 2020 and married Mufti Anas in 2021. She is now enjoying a blissful married life and has welcomed a son, whom they named Tariq Jameel.
