Ankara: Renowned Pakistani Sufi singer Sanam Marvi captivated the audience with her mesmerizing voice and deep connection to Sufi traditions at the International Sufi Music Festival held in the historic city of Konya, Turkey.
Shaykh Ahmed Bhutto, Charge d’Affaires of the Pakistani Embassy, and Erkan Arsu, General Secretary of the Konya Municipality, praised Sanam Marvi’s performance.
In his address, Shaykh Ahmed Bhutto remarked that the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Turkey span centuries, rooted in their shared religious, cultural, and spiritual heritage. He emphasized that the Pakistani Embassy will continue to organize cultural programs in collaboration with the Konya Municipality to promote this shared heritage.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanam Marvi expressed, “Singing in Konya, the city of Rumi, is a tremendous honor for me. I hope my music inspires others to appreciate the beauty of Sufi teachings and the message of love and unity.”
