Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Saif Ali Khan has expressed his views on social media, stating that it can be dangerous for individuals like him.
Speaking at an event on an Indian channel, Saif Ali Khan shared, “I don’t want to get involved in negativity, which is why I stay away from social media. It’s dangerous for people like me.”
He further elaborated that he believes social media consumes a significant amount of time that could be better spent on positive activities. “I occasionally spend about half an hour scrolling through Instagram, reading the bizarre messages that pop up. My wife tells me that I’m not following the right things,” he added.
Saif emphasized that social media is an endless cycle that often leads to negativity. “I don’t like social media because it can be dangerous for people like me. I want to stay away from negative discussions, which is why social media isn’t for me.”
Despite being one of the leading actors in Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan is notably absent from any social media platforms, in stark contrast to many of his fellow actors.
