Karachi: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has earned a significant honor by winning Pakistan’s first National Tourism Award.
According to a spokesperson for PIA, the award was presented to PIA’s CEO, Air Vice Marshal Aamir Hayat, during a ceremony held to mark World Tourism Day.
The award recognizes PIA’s role in promoting national tourism, as it is the only domestic airline that connects various regions of the country both domestically and internationally.
PIA has also launched a campaign to introduce Pakistan’s stunning northern areas to the world. Receiving this award is not only a matter of pride for PIA but also a recognition of our national identity.
