TEL AVIV: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed aggressive intentions to continue the brutal bombardment of Lebanon, warning Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah that “everyone is in our crosshairs.”
According to Israeli media, during a speech at army headquarters, Netanyahu urged the Lebanese public to take their warnings seriously and evacuate their homes immediately.
He justified the strikes on residential areas by accusing Hezbollah of storing missiles and automatic weapons within those homes, which, he claimed, are used to target Israel. Netanyahu stated that the Israeli military responds to protect its land and citizens, emphasizing, “We have no war with the Lebanese people.”
Netanyahu reiterated his commitment to altering the security balance in northern regions, stating, “I promised to change the equilibrium of power, and we are now fulfilling that promise.”
He also warned his military and citizens that Hezbollah is likely to retaliate with attacks from southern Lebanon, saying, “We will have to face these challenges.”
Notably, the ongoing Israeli attacks in Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of 492 individuals, including 35 children, with over 1,645 reported injured.
