Kari Wuhrer has spoken out about her ex, Dave Grohl, accusing the Foo Fighters frontman of infidelity throughout his marriage to Jordyn Blum. In an interview with TMZ on Thursday, Wuhrer, 57, revealed she had “heard rumblings” for years about Grohl, 55, allegedly fathering a child outside of his marriage.
Wuhrer, who dated Grohl in the 1990s while he was also romantically involved with snowboarder Tina Basich, claimed she was unaware of his relationship with Basich at the time. “I never heard about her,” she said, adding that Grohl never mentioned the snowboarder.
The model revealed she inadvertently exposed Grohl’s double life when she called into the “Howard Stern Show” to complain about his behavior, prompting Basich to end their relationship after hearing the broadcast. Wuhrer said Grohl never contacted her again after that.
Years later, when the two encountered each other while with their children at a play area, Wuhrer claimed Grohl acted as though she “didn’t exist,” solidifying her negative view of him. “I just felt like I knew he was a scumbag after that,” she remarked.
Grohl’s personal life has recently come under public scrutiny following his admission on Instagram last week that he fathered a child. “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote, referencing Blum and their three daughters—Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
While Grohl has provided no further details, his representative has denied a viral social media claim from a user alleging she is the mother of his newborn daughter.
