Things appear to be worsening for Prince Andrew as he continues to face multiple setbacks. The disgraced brother of King Charles, who was stripped of his royal titles and patronages following his involvement in a sex scandal, has now been mocked in a newly released Amazon Prime series.
According to a former Buckingham Palace staffer, many current and past employees are pleased with the negative portrayal of Andrew. The ex-staffer told *The Daily Beast* that those who “put up with Andrew’s petulant, rude, and inconsiderate behavior” when he was a working royal are “thrilled” at his depiction as a foul-mouthed, disrespectful bully.
The staffer added, “Some people thought he got off lightly last time, but it seems Amazon has nailed him this time round.”
Previously, Netflix released *Scoop*, a movie based on Sam McAlister’s memoir *Newsnight*, which focused on Andrew’s infamous 2019 interview with Emily Maitlis. The Amazon series, produced by Maitlis, delves into the events surrounding that interview.
In addition to his public image woes, Andrew remains embroiled in a tense dispute with King Charles. The King is reportedly losing patience and seeking to evict Andrew from the 30-room Royal Lodge. While no official announcement has been made, palace insiders suggest that Charles will handle the situation “tidily or untidily” as Andrew continues to resist eviction.
The scandal surrounding Prince Andrew escalated after the 2019 interview revealed his ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. He was later accused of having inappropriate relations with a minor, leading to a legal settlement without an admission of guilt.
