At the opening day of The European House – Ambrosetti in Cernobbio, Italy, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that Russia is using missiles supplied by Iran in its attacks on Ukraine. Zelenskyy stated, “Putin is trying to launch more missiles to kill more children. We try to defend ourselves as best as we can, but they also attack with ballistic missiles that come from Iran.”
He expressed concerns about the difficulties in initiating dialogue with Russia under these circumstances, emphasizing that Ukraine needs strong support from its allies to be in a favorable position for future negotiations.
Regarding Italy’s role, Zelenskyy commended the country’s support, noting, “Italy is doing everything, it is with us to carry forward the peace formula. Kyiv does not ask for anything more than what your country or others have done or are doing.”
