The Duchess of Sussex, currently entangled in legal issues related to her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, is opting for silence despite potential temptations to make a statement.
Since leaving the royal family with Prince Harry in 2020, Meghan has been outspoken about her treatment by the royals. However, a royal commentator suggests she is now scaling back her criticisms to focus on a major reveal. Meghan appears to be following a strategy similar to that of Queen Camilla, maintaining a steady and quiet approach.
Royal commentator Judita DaSilva noted that Meghan is employing the “Camilla formula” of being steady, consistent, and quiet. Personal branding expert Amelia Sordell added that Meghan is working to regain control over her brand image ahead of her planned launch.
“They’ve taken a real backseat to the initial narrative we saw in 2023 and late 2022,” Sordell explained. “I think she has made the mistake in the past of revealing too much.”
DaSilva also suggested that Meghan’s current silence could be a sign of something significant to come, coinciding with her brand launch.
