Houston: In Houston, the newly elected president of the Pakistani American Lions Club, Seher Khurshid, organized a Charter Night event at a local hall. The event featured a special appearance by Shahzaib Rind, the first Pakistani karate fighter to qualify for the Karate World Title and currently ranked World No. 3. The local American and Pakistani community warmly welcomed the Pakistani hero at the event.
Shahzaib Rind was the center of attention throughout the event, with fans eagerly taking photos with him and requesting autographs.
During the special Charter Night of the Houston Pakistani American Lions Club, the Consul General of Pakistan, Aftab Chaudhry, President of the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association, Saeed Sheikh, and the newly elected president of the Houston Pakistani American Lions Club, Seher Khurshid, honored the Pakistani hero with appreciation shields and certificates.
On this occasion, Shahzaib Rind, also known as King Khan, expressed his hope of achieving success in the World Championship to be held in Singapore on September 18th. He aspires to bring the honor of becoming a world champion and to give the nation a gift of happiness. He mentioned that he has been residing in the United States for four months, undergoing rigorous training in preparation for the championship.
Seher Khurshid, the newly elected president of the Houston Pakistani American Lions Club, stated that this recognition event by the Lions Club is proof that Pakistani Americans have deep love and admiration for their heroes.
The event concluded with a Qawwali session where renowned Pakistani Qawwal Imran Aziz Mian performed famous Qawwalis, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
