Dennis Quaid, 70, playfully suggested he could use some promotional assistance from his son, *The Boys* star Jack Quaid, for his upcoming film *Reagan*. During the Hollywood premiere of the biopic about the 40th U.S. President on Tuesday, Dennis quipped to ET, “How about a little help over here? I don’t mind the nepo thing myself, okay? Reverse nepo, I’ll take it!”
The term “nepo baby” refers to individuals who have benefited from their parents’ success in the entertainment industry. Jack Quaid, whose mother is actress Meg Ryan, has openly acknowledged his privileged position. In a July interview with the Daily Beast, Jack stated, “I am an immensely privileged person, was able to get representation pretty early on, and that’s more than half the battle. I knew the door was open for me in a lot of ways that it’s just not for a lot of actors. And I’ve just tried to work as hard as I possibly can to prove that I deserve to walk through that door.”
Despite his famous lineage, Jack has emphasized the importance of hard work in establishing his own career, noting the “need to work my a– off.” Meanwhile, Dennis Quaid’s film *Reagan* is set to premiere on August 30.
