Microsoft has revealed the release date for its new Xbox Series X and Series S models, including a special 2TB Series X. The new consoles will be available on October 15, with a staggered release in select countries on October 29, as detailed in an official press statement.
Starting today, players can pre-order the Xbox Series S – 1TB in Robot White, the Xbox Series X – 1TB Digital Edition in Robot White, and the Xbox Series X – 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition. The prices are set at $349.99 for the 1TB Series S, $449.99 for the 1TB Series X, and $599.99 for the 2TB Series X.
Roanne Sones, head of Xbox devices, emphasized that now is an ideal time to invest in the new consoles, highlighting the extensive game availability through Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass for Console members.
While the consoles will be available in all regions where Xbox hardware is supported, countries such as India, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Israel, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and the UAE are not included in the initial release. Microsoft has not announced any plans to release these models in these regions at this time.
