In a candid interview with *Interview Magazine*, Jacob Elordi discussed the challenges he faces as a television actor, particularly after finishing the latest season of *Euphoria*. The Australian actor, known for his role in the hit series, admitted to feeling “disenfranchised and directionless” post-Euphoria.
Elordi shared his struggles with staying motivated and grappling with the concept of “celebrity,” which he finds makes it difficult to maintain interest and authenticity in his work. During the interview, he sought advice from his *Euphoria* co-star Eric Dane, who plays his onscreen father, about finding inspiration.
Dane, 51, emphasized the importance of staying teachable and continuously rediscovering the craft, stating, “I think the moment I stop rediscovering the craft, I’m more or less dead. It’s not a craft that can be mastered, in my opinion.”
Elordi, who gained recognition for his roles in films like *Swinging Safari* and *The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee*, rose to fame with his breakthrough role in *Euphoria*, which returned for a second season in 2022.
