Shannon Beador, star of *Real Housewives of Orange County*, has formally responded to her ex-boyfriend John Janssen’s lawsuit, vehemently denying all allegations of fraud and requesting that the case be dismissed.
In court documents, Beador, 60, refutes Janssen’s claims that she owes him $75,000 in unpaid loans from their on-again, off-again four-year relationship. Janssen, 61, alleges that Beador borrowed $40,000 in 2022 for a facelift and later requested an additional $35,000, neither of which she has repaid, prompting him to sue for breach of contract and fraud.
Beador, however, contends that the money was a gift, not a loan, and argues that Janssen has not suffered any irreparable harm. She also highlighted that she covered many expenses during their relationship, suggesting Janssen benefited financially as well.
In her response, Beador’s lawyer defended her business practices, denied any wrongdoing, and labeled Janssen’s claims as “frivolous.” She is also seeking reimbursement for her legal fees.
