HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — An investigation is underway after a woman was found shot to death inside an apartment complex in downtown Houston early Saturday morning.
The Houston Police Department reported that officers responded to a shooting at the complex in the 1700 block of Caroline Street around 1:15 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers entered the complex and discovered the woman lying in the hallway near the elevators. She appeared to have been shot multiple times. It is unclear if the woman was a resident of the complex.
HPD is currently reviewing surveillance footage from the building’s cameras. At this time, there are no suspects or known motives.
