Dallas: Just as literary organizations around the world are busy in their efforts to keep Urdu literature and language alive, to connect new generations with Urdu, and to attract them to the language, Al Noor International in Dalles is always innovating in its efforts. Mushairas are organized, and this time, this Mushaira on the ship was the fifth Mushaira of Dalles’ literary organization Al Noor International.
The ship’s capacity was surpassed by the overwhelming number of nature lovers eager to experience the breathtaking views, resulting in many disappointed attendees being turned away., but it was a pleasant trip for those who were there wanted to get satisfaction and peace from the sight of nature. It was very beautiful. When the evening started turning into night, the Mushairah event began. The well-known radio anchor, Shazia Khan, and the host of the Mushairah, Noor Amrahavi, performed their duties as masters of ceremonies. The well-known poet Tariq Hashmi was given the honor to preside over the mushaira, while the well-known poet Manzar Bhopali, who came from India specially, participated in the mushaira.
The mushaira was started by poet Nooram Marhavi by reciting his words, after which Parmad Rajput, Rizwan Hosni, Sheikh Ejaz, Shah Alam Asr, Naheed Shad, Nadir Durrani, Dr. Shamsha Qureshi, Masood Qazi, and Dr. Aamir Sulaiman enriched the gathering with their own words. The atmosphere was heated, so later, the guest poet Dr. Saleem from Chicago, and the poet Manzar Bhopali from India, stole the show with their ghazals and poems.
At that time, the stars descending from the sky inside the lake were presenting a fascinating scene. The water of the lake and the majestic light coming out of it were burning with love. New places were shining, and at that time, everyone’s heart said that I wish this peaceful scene would last. Even in the intense heat, the feeling of comforting coolness and coolness was noticeable. The eyes were becoming still, and the eyelids were refusing to move. It seemed that time had stopped, and the rotation of the universe had also stopped.
On one hand, the sight of this creation of nature was dazzling the eyes, and on the other hand, the poets were busy awakening the souls with their poems and enchanting voices. And returning to Mushara full of heart, this journey of the ship was eleven miles long on Fresco Lake near Dalles, but this journey was not even noticed as the ship returned to its destination twice and anchored.
Finally, the President of the Mushaira, Tariq Hashmi, presented his poems after a short presidential address. Tariq Hashmi also presented a poem written on water on this occasion. Attendees Shaukat Muhammad, Attorney Naim Sukhya, Fayyaz Khan Rampuri from Houston, and many prominent personalities from different departments in Dalles also participated in this mushaira, while Shakif from Urdu and children also were attendee . According to the attendees, Al Noor’s mushairas have been instrumental in promoting Urdu and fostering a sense of community, bringing people together through a shared love of language and literature.
