DALLAS, Texas (NBC 5) — Dallas detectives discovered a property in northwest Dallas filled with stolen vehicles, surprising residents along the 2100 block of Mail Avenue who had no idea about the illegal activity.
One of those residents, a woman named Destiny, shared with NBC 5 that her car had been stolen in Dallas. Fearing for her safety, she chose not to reveal her last name or show her face. After hearing about the auto theft bust, she went to check the scene, hoping to find her vehicle.
While Destiny’s car wasn’t among the stolen items recovered, she was shocked by what she saw: multiple cars and jet skis being towed away from the property.
“I can’t fathom the mindset of people who would do something like this to everyday civilians,” she said. “It was just madness to see even jet skis among the stolen items.”
Police arrested 22-year-old Alexander Limon on the property. Limon’s father, who asked to remain anonymous, told NBC 5 that his son was a mechanic and believed the vehicles were from customers. He mentioned that Limon had hired a lawyer.
Destiny said a friend had used a live tracker to locate his wife’s stolen car, which led to the discovery of the stolen vehicles. “Fortunately, her live tracker helped pinpoint the house, which led to uncovering all this other stolen property,” she said.
Although Destiny believes her car is likely gone for good, she expressed gratitude for the investigation that helped provide answers for other victims.
Limon faces theft of property charges and is currently out on bond. Dallas police have stated that the investigation is ongoing. For more details on the Dallas Police Department Auto Theft Unit, visit [Dallas Police Auto Theft Unit](https://dallaspolice.net/division/autotheft).
