Dallas-Fire Rescue responded to a fire at a Hooters restaurant in Dallas on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the Hooters located at 2201 North Lamar Street around 11:23 a.m. Initially, crews reported seeing only a light haze upon arrival.
As firefighters assessed the situation, they discovered more structural involvement, prompting a second alarm to be issued at 11:57 a.m.
During the operation, one firefighter sustained injuries to his head, face, and leg. He was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in stable condition and is expected to fully recover, according to Dallas-Fire Rescue.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
