Four Day Weekend, a renowned comedy institution, is returning to the stage.
The announcement follows the closure of its Fort Worth location in July due to leasing issues. Now, comedy and improv enthusiasts can enjoy shows at Stage West Theatre in Fort Worth.
“When we heard that Four Day Weekend was losing its downtown space, our immediate response was ‘come over here,'” said Dana Schultes, Executive Producer of Stage West.
Four Day Weekend has been a cornerstone of Fort Worth’s entertainment scene, featuring improv comedy, video sketches, and live music. Audiences can anticipate a lively and interactive experience.
“We’re excited to maintain the Southwest’s longest-running show in Fort Worth by establishing a residency at Stage West Theatre,” said David Wilk, a founding member of Four Day Weekend. “This collaboration between two well-known Fort Worth brands ensures uninterrupted performances for our fans. Exit Stage West!”
The debut performance at Stage West Theatre is scheduled for August 3. Tickets can be purchased at FourDayWeekend.com.
