Two residents from North Texas recently struck it big, each securing $1 million in lottery prizes.
The first win occurred in Plano, where a Mega Millions ticket worth $1,000,004 was claimed from the July 2 drawing. The second-tier prize-winning ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven Convenience Store on 17605 Midway Road in Dallas. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, matched all five white ball numbers (4-8-19-31-45) but missed the Mega Ball number (11). Additionally, the ticket earned $4 from other matches.
The second winner hails from Allen, who claimed a top prize of $1 million from the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game Million Dollar Loteria. The ticket was bought at a Racetrack located at 371 Stacy Road in Fairview. Similar to the Mega Millions winner, this winner also opted to remain anonymous.
The Allen win marks the first of 10 top prizes worth $1 million available in the Million Dollar Loteria game. Overall, the game offers more than $384 million in total prizes, with odds of winning any prize standing at 3.29, including break-even prizes.
