In the evening, catch the 32nd annual Mariachi Invitational at the Houston Arena Theatre, hosted by the Go Tejano Committee with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Several mariachi groups compete ahead of Tejano Night at the rodeo. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the competition starting at 7 p.m. Anchor Mayra Moreno will co-host the event.
