Dallas Police are seeking a gunman following a double shooting at an apartment complex that resulted in the death of a teenage boy and the injury of a teenage girl on Friday night.
The fatal incident occurred just before 9 p.m. in the 2400 block of Robert B. Cullum Boulevard.
Upon receiving reports of a shooting, officers responded to the scene and discovered a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl with gunshot wounds.
The injured teens were swiftly transported to a local hospital, where the boy succumbed to his injuries. The girl received treatment and was subsequently released.
Dallas Police stated that, according to their initial investigation, the teenage victims were shot outside an apartment. The boy was located in an apartment breezeway, while the girl was found in a nearby apartment.
Due to their ages, the names of the victims have not been disclosed.
Authorities emphasized that the fatal shooting appears to be an isolated incident and reassured the public that there is no imminent danger.
