Last week, Episcopal High School in Bellaire, Texas, celebrated boys’ head basketball coach Wayne Jones for achieving his 700th career win.
Reflecting on his accomplishment, Jones emphasized the significance of building strong relationships, acknowledging the contributions of players, families, and communities throughout his coaching journey.
For Jones, prioritizing the fundamentals of the game and instilling values in his players has always been paramount. He stressed the importance of adapting to changes in the sport while maintaining core principles, such as their motto, “94 feet for 32 minutes.”
