Law enforcement is on the lookout for the driver of a vehicle that led officers on a car chase originating in Mesquite and concluding in Dallas, as per police reports.
The pursuit commenced on Monday afternoon when officers discovered a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Big Town Boulevard and Eastover Drive in Mesquite. Mesquite police spokesperson Brandon Ricketts stated that officers received a call shortly before 1:30 p.m. regarding the stolen vehicle.
Authorities pursued the suspect vehicle into Dallas, where it collided with three unrelated vehicles near the intersection of Hall and Main streets in Deep Ellum. This resulted in “major damage” to one of the vehicles, according to police. Ricketts mentioned that Mesquite police are not aware of any injuries associated with the incident.
After the crash, several individuals inside the suspect vehicle fled the scene. Of the four suspects involved, three—two men and a juvenile—have been apprehended, as confirmed by the police. However, the driver of the suspect vehicle, described as a male with short black hair and a black jacket, remains at large.
The two arrested men have been identified as 20-year-old Enrique Medina and 18-year-old Pedro Greene, both hailing from Dallas. They each face charges of evading arrest, according to the police.
