An AT&T Stadium contract employee was arrested Sunday and is accused of taking cash in exchange for giving a group of people without tickets entry into the Dallas Cowboys game, police said.
An Arlington police detective working at the stadium for the Cowboys’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles learned of the incident, said Tim Ciesco, a spokesman for the department.
The employee’s job was to scan fans’ tickets after they had gone through the security checkpoint at the stadium, Ciesco added.
“When the detective questioned the employee, he admitted to accepting the money,” Ciesco said in an email Monday evening.
The employee has been identified as 19-year-old Diego Soto. Tarrant County online jail records showed Soto was arrested Sunday. His bail has been set at $1,500, records showed.
