Another tranquil day is on tap for North Texas today with a mix of sun and clouds and light winds. Temperatures will continue slightly above normal (lower 60s).
This quiet pattern will soon get more active with rain chances on the horizon. Some light rain (or sprinkles) could show up as early as Wednesday. The higher chance for this light rain will be to the west of DFW. Meanwhile, Wednesday will be cool and mostly cloudy.
The much better rain chance for all of North Texas will arrive on Friday. Widespread showers are anticipated with chilly conditions for much of Friday. Most of the rain will exit by Saturday morning, but a stray shower or two may briefly linger.
