Four people, including a toddler, died and a teen was wounded following a shooting Sunday in the Rylie neighborhood in southeastern Dallas.

What happened?
Police said four people were fatally shot and fifth person was wounded in the shooting, which was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. in the 9700 block of Royce Drive in southeastern Dallas.
A 13-year-old girl was also inside the home at the time of the shooting, but wasn’t injured, police said.
What are the names of the victims?
Of the five people who were shot, one victim — a 15-year-old girl — survived and was treated at a hospital, according to police.
According to the Dallas County medical examiner’s records, the other victims include:
- Logan De La Cruz, 1
- Vanessa De La Cruz, 20
- Karina Lopez, 33
- Jose Lopez, 50
The adults were pronounced dead at the scene while the 1-year-old died at the hospital, records show.
Was anyone arrested?
Byron Carrillo, 21, was identified by police as the suspect. He fled Dallas and was pursued by DPS troopers in Austin, where he fatally shot himself about four hours after the shooting, authorities said.
Public records show Carrillo lived in the home next door to where the shooting occurred and had a history of violent crime arrests. Court records from prior offenses show he had been in a relationship with Vanessa De La Cruz.
Where did the shooting occur?
The shooting occurred in the Rylie neighborhood of Dallas, which is in the southeastern portion of the city. Police were called to the northwest side of the neighborhood.
Two other fatal shootings, including one that killed a teen, have occurred less than a mile away from where the Sunday shooting occurred, police have said.
In June, 16-year-old Omar Rosales, was fatally shot in the 1900 block of South St. Augustine Road. A man was also injured in the shooting. And in August, a man, identified by police as Hector Barrios Verdugo, 36, was fatally shot in the 2000 block of Vine Lane.
The neighborhood suffered another tragedy when a 59-year-old man was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of his girlfriend, Andrea Garcia, 50, in the 14900 block of Lasater Road.
