Periods of rain have moved across North Texas over the last 24 hours. Some lucky folks have received more than an inch of rain, while others have only had sprinkles.
More rain is likely on Wednesday, mainly Wednesday evening and overnight. Some of the rain could be heavy with more than an inch possible in some locations. The rain will move out of North Texas by early Thursday and the remainder if the day will likely be dry. Low rain chances continue Friday and Saturday with highs in the 80s.
A cold front is set to arrive by Sunday morning. This front will bring the coolest air of the season so far and may give us a chilly Halloween.
