One Garland resident struck big after purchasing a $20 scratch-off ticket at a local convenience store.
The Texas Lottery announced Wednesday that the anonymous person claimed a top-prize-winning ticket worth $1 million. The individual purchased the ticket, for the game 200X Cash Blitz, at Mini Mart, 1106 Rowlett Rd.
The seven-figure ticket was the third of four top prize tickets to be claimed in the game. It was claimed Friday.
According to the Texas Lottery, the game offers more than $145 million in total prizes, with $1 million being the elusive top prize.
Two others have claimed the top prize, with one scratch-off ticket sold in Midland and the other sold in Seabrook.
