A man was fatally shot late Saturday near a South Dallas park.
Officers responded about 10:45 p.m. to the 5300 block of Wullschleger Lane and found a man who had been shot lying on the ground, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity and additional details surrounding the shooting have not been publicly released. The location police released is a street between an apartment complex and Willie Mae Butler Park.
The investigation is ongoing.
