One person is in custody and two remain at large after a man was killed in a Lewisville park Saturday evening.
Police said an officer near Central Park, in the 1800 block of South Edmonds Lane, heard gunshots about 6:30 p.m. A male victim, who has not been identified, was shot in the head, police said, and a handgun was found on the ground nearby.
Witnesses saw three people running into a wooded area after the shooting, police said.
Officers are investigating a shooting at Central Park. One person is deceased. One suspect is in custody. Officers, K-9 units, and Air One are searching for two additional suspects.

One person had been apprehended by 8 p.m., police said. That person’s name was not released.
Police were continuing to search for the other two, with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety and Carrollton police.
Police said the motive for the shooting has not been determined.
