HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Easter Sunday is looking dry. We may see clouds most of the morning with some clearing possible by afternoon. Temperatures could reach the 70s by afternoon. We could see a small shower or storm chance return by Monday and Tuesday. No heavy rain is expected.
What’s the forecast for Easter Sunday?
Early morning temperatures will be in the upper 50s and 60s in most areas with clouds and maybe some patchy fog. Some sun may break through the clouds by afternoon to get temperatures in the 70s. Expect winds under 10 mph most of the day.
Are rainy days coming back next week?
We won’t see widespread heavy rain. An upper level storm system will move southeast across parts of Texas and get stucky Monday and Tuesday near southern Louisiana. It is close enough that we could see a shower or storm in spots, but rain chances are near 30%. Most of the rain should stay east of Texas.
