The fire department said its arson and bomb unit used dogs — in addition to police officers and convention center staff — to search the building, but no hazards were found.
The threat was cleared shortly after 2 p.m. and the fire department said everyone was allowed back inside.
The Fort Worth Police Department’s Homeland Security Unit is conducting the ongoing investigation, fire officials said.
