New details have emerged about the woman who was arrested in the stabbing her five children in an Ellis County home, killing three of them and hospitalizing two.
The slayings happened Friday after a Child Protective Services investigator decided to remove the children from the home before they were killed, the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday.
Shamaiya Deyonshanaye Hall, 25, of Forney, was booked into the Ellis County jail the night of the slayings on three capital murder charges, according to jail records. Hall remained jailed as of Monday with a bail set at $6 million for the charges. It is unclear if she has an attorney.
