HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible through Tuesday morning ahead of a cold front moving across Texas. Sunshine returns along with lower humidity once the front passes.
We’ll see several pleasant days behind the front with plenty of sunshine. Our next chance for rain arrives this weekend.
Could there be any severe weather or flash flooding with the cold front?
There is a small chance for a shower or storm to produce locally heavy rainfall that may cause minor street flooding. The greatest severe weather threat will stay farther north and east of our area. Rainfall in most areas will stay under one inch.
Will sunshine return this week?
Some sunshine could break through the clouds Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday through Friday should bring mainly sunny skies!
