HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — We’ve got perfect conditions in place for another very cold night. Our skies are clear, the air is dry, and those winds have calmed down. That means temps should fall to the lower 20s in most areas away from the immediate coast. One more Hard Freeze Warning has been issued for us.
Our clear skies, dry air, and calm wind will contribute to a very cold night for Santa. Temps should easily fall to the lower 20s most areas away from the immediate coast. A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect until 11am Sunday. Stay warm! https://t.co/J63npTEwBP pic.twitter.com/x77p7A4oVg

How does Christmas Day look?
After a hard freeze early Christmas morning, temps will quickly rise into the 40s. We’ll get close to 50 degrees under a sunny sky.
Will Santa be able to find my house?
Clear skies and light winds overnight will allow Santa to easily find your house and deliver gifts!
How many more hard freezes will we see?
Just one more night in most areas. Hard freeze warnings are in effect Saturday night and Sunday morning. Some areas may see light freezes (staying above 24 degrees) Sunday night and Monday night.
Do we ever warm back up?
You bet! It’ll be a slow and steady warming process, but high temperatures will reach the low 70s by the middle and end of next week.
