HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — It was a mostly dry Sunday but we could see some light rain move in later tonight.
Rain chances will really ramp up as we head towards daybreak Monday. We are expecting widespread light rain which could cause some slow downs on the roads as you head into work. We should continue to see these showers into the afternoon to evening but they should be much more isolated than what we are expecting in the morning. Street flooding is not expected.
Is Monday going to be another wet, cold day?
Absolutely. It’ll be hard to tell the difference between Saturday and Monday. Expect rain off and on throughout the day with temperatures holding steady in the 40s. The best chance of rain will be in the morning with slightly lower chances in the afternoon to evening but it will overall be a soggy day.
What’s the outlook for Thanksgiving?
It looks like our next cool front will move in Thursday bringing a chance for scattered showers. Once the front clears, drier air will move in. So even though we may see some rain Thursday, it’ll be a gorgeous day Friday!
