HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — We are drying out for now, but another high chance for rain is on the way later this week.
Wednesday still looks to be a dreary day with a mostly cloudy sky, but we should see some of those clouds break up into the afternoon. Temperatures will start off in the upper 50s then warm into the mid 70s.
When is our next chance of rain?
We could start to see some scattered rain on Friday which should become more numerous later in the evening as a front approaches from the west. Along and ahead of the front, we should see a line of showers and storms form. This should move in during the overnight hours, then clear out Saturday morning. We could potentially see a few strong to even severe storms during this time period.
When does the time change occur?
That occurs in the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 6. After that happens, expect the sun to rise a little after 6:30 a.m. and set right around 5:30 p.m.
What’s happening in the tropics?
Tropical Storm Lisa continues to move west towards Belize and the southern parts of the Yucatan Peninsula. It could intensify into a hurricane before making landfall late Wednesday. Tropical Storm Martin is expected to remain a fish storm over the northern Atlantic. For the very latest, check out our daily tropical update.
