HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Now that the front has passed, you’ll want to enjoy two near perfect fall days. Lows will be near 50 in Houston. Under sunny skies, highs will make it to the comfortable 70s Wednesday and Thursday.
Rain and thunderstorms return Friday, the first day of the World Series.
How stormy will it be on Friday?
A big storm system will move in and give us thunderstorms off and on throughout the day. There may be enough instability around for severe weather, including isolated tornadoes. The worst of the weather should be in the process of ending about the time the World Series game starts.
What can we expect for Halloween weekend?
Another cool front is expected to move through on Friday. This front will bring another round of showers and storms to our area. Behind the front, we’ll see another round of cooler, drier weather that should be perfect for trick-or-treaters.
What’s happening in the tropics?
There are two areas in the Atlantic highlighted for potential development. Both have a low chance of development. These areas are east of the United States so they don’t pose a threat for the Gulf. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
