HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — We are not done with this gorgeous weather quite yet. Monday will look about the same as Sunday with high clouds streaming overhead courtesy from Hurricane Orlene which is currently on the Pacific side of Mexico.
Temperatures Monday morning will start off cool and pleasant. Most areas will be in the upper 50s. Highs will warm quickly into the upper 80s by the afternoon.
How long will this fall fresh air stick around?
We’ll see a gradual warming trend as we move through the week. Morning lows will be in the low 60s, with high temperatures gradually climbing by into the low 90s for the middle and latter parts of the week. Humidity will also gradually be on the rise, though moisture levels will stay manageable with dewpoints peaking in the low 60s.
Could we see any rain this week?
Overall rain chances look very slim as dry air continues to remain overhead. We do see a slight increase in moisture at the end of the week as a weak front approaches and that could lead to a stray shower or two on Friday.
What’s happening in the tropics?
We have a couple areas we are watching in the tropics but none are a concern for SE Texas at this point. For the very latest check out our daily tropical update.
