Eastbound I-10 lanes reopen after big rig jackknifes in Baytown

BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) — Traffic is improving on eastbound Interstate 10 in Baytown after an 18-wheeler jackknifed across the freeway’s mainlanes.

Crews cleared the incident and a hazmat spill that blocked all outbound lanes at John Martin Road.

Houston TranStar verified the incident at 12:24 p.m. and it involved one other vehicle.

Texas Department of Transportation tweeted just before 8 p.m. that the incident cleared.

Injuries were not reported.
