Police are asking for the public’s help finding a 30-year-old woman last seen in downtown Dallas earlier this month.
Dana Holt was last seen about noon March 1 in the 400 block of South Houston Street, near Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station. She may be in need of assistance, police said.
Holt is described as a Black woman who is 5-9 and about 250 pounds, with blond hair and brown eyes and a tattoo on her neck and chest. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and black pants.
Holt, who is originally from St. Louis, Mo., was seen on surveillance footage at the Eddie Bernice Johnson Union Station with an unknown man, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5).
Holt’s relatives told NBC5 that Holt left home and took a train to Dallas for an unknown reason the night before she was seen downtown with the man, who they didn’t recognize.
Deborah Holt, Holt’s mother, told the TV station that her daughter called family crying the day she arrived in Dallas and said “Mom, he won’t let me leave,” and then hung up, saying the man was getting out of the shower.
Audrey Clay, Holt’s sister, wrote on Facebook that she feels numb, confused and scared as family members search for Holt. She wrote that nobody in the family has heard from her sister since Holt called crying.
“Please pray for me and my family as we are not OK,” Clay wrote. “My heart is breaking every second that passes.”
Anyone with information about her whereabouts may contact Dallas police at 214-671-4268 or 911.
