HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 9-year-old was shot in the head in what police are calling a road rage incident in southwest Houston.
The shooting happened Tuesday night in the 7300 block of Fondren, near the Southwest Freeway.
Police said someone in a truck fired shots at a family in a minivan. The driver of the van was able to pull over at a Shell gas station on Fondren.
From there, paramedics took the child to Texas Children’s Hospital. The child’s condition was not immediately known.
