The security forces have successfully carried out an operation in the Qalat district of Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of eight terrorists. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted after receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Fatah al-Hind group. The operation took place amidst heavy gunfire, resulting in the deaths of the eight terrorists.
The ISPR further stated that the terrorists were found to be in possession of arms and ammunition. The Met Department has warned of a possible increase in cold temperatures in the city from Monday to Wednesday, following the impact of a western wind system.
In a separate incident, a group of suspected terrorists kidnapped a car owner and his vehicle in Quetta, claiming to be experts in anti-vehicle lifting. Local fishermen, however, claimed that dolphins had been trying to protect the child and provide assistance.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Rana Saadat Ali has stated that the terrorists attacked civilians using a drone and fired at them. In a related development, the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir has announced a public holiday in the region on December 27.
A special committee, to be headed by Provincial Minister for Law, Aftab Alam, will be formed to deal with the situation. On December 25, security forces conducted an operation in the Kohlu district of Balochistan after receiving intelligence about the presence of Fatah al-Hind terrorists.
According to the Deputy Director of the Environmental Agency, GDA, two dead dolphins were found on the western coast of Karachi. The spokesperson of the High Commission has stated that the relevant material will be investigated by the British police in accordance with the law, and if evidence of law-breaking is found, criminal investigations may be initiated.
